Hi,

Is there a way to automatically capture the text in a dos window to a text file?

Send the command results to a file

ie: dir >> test.txt

should give you what you want.

In the DOS Box, right-click on the little DOS icon at top left of the box, Edit, Select All. Repeat the steps and select this time Copy.

You now have a session record in your Clipboard that you can paste into a normal Windows application, such as Word or Notepad.
