DOS to USB

Hi All

I have a problem, I need to be able to give DOS based production Machines the use of USB, is there such a thing as a Serial port to USB convertor that will run on MSDOS (These machines have no PCI, ISA slots), I want to be able to plug in a USB external harddisk to these machines so that I can take back ups of them.

Panasonic wrote a usb driver for DOS which works with mass storage devices.
