DOS Shell for NEC PABX MAT software

I am trying to use Procomm to dial into a NEC PABX (ICS120) and then run the MAT-Maintenance program to administer the PABX. The MAT program is a dos based program. The MAT software is designed to work with a communications program and receives data from and sends data to the comms package.

I have been able to dial into the PABX and run a dos session but when I launcg the Mat program it doesn't get the data from Procomm.

Is there a way to run a DOS window within procomm where all data is sent to and from the DOS window.

If anyone is familar with Telix it is the "jump to Dos" command which I am trying to emulate

This used to be possible with earlier versions of Procomm (pre 4.x versions I would think due to newer versions using TAPI to communicate with the modem), but I've had not luck doing this with version 4.8.
