DOS settings??

hey my application (VC++) has a bunch of system() functions in it. Although I am happy with how it runs right now, I was wondering if anybody knows a way to keep that command prompt window open instead of flashingall the time. For programming purposes I want to see the exact display on the console.

redirect the output in a file. Launch program in command line like this:
yourprogram.exe > somefile.txt
