Dos printing

i have some printers setup on a win2k server machine.
setup as tcpip ports.
they are shared so others win2kpro users can use them (so this makes this a print server).
this works fine, apart from some users who need to print out in dos.
now i know the net use command and this is what i have been typeing
net use lpt3 \\citdc1\1_hp2100_c
i get this error message error 67 had occured.
i can see the printers if i type net view for a dos window.

i carn't seem to work this out, i have even tried net view ip addresses and persistant.

please could someone help me asap

Hi myown,

have you typed net use lpt3 (without colon) or net use lpt3: (with colon)?

Error 67 means ERROR_BAD_NET_NAME The network name cannot be found.
