I am desktop support for a natural gas company who utilizes numerous applications that currently use DOS based printing. We also deployed a fleet of HP 4350 networked printers recently to replace older HP 8150s. The few 8150s still in production work with DOS printing just fine, but the 4350s will not work correctly with the DOS based programs.
Is there an established solution allowing configuration of Paper Tray Behavior for newer HP printers while printing from DOS based applications?
Will said solution allow me to setup separate print queues allowing customized printer configurations on our servers for Windows based printing while still enabling customized DOS printing behavior?
Let me know what additional detail I need to supply to better explain my scenario. Thanks
