Hello!
I have a small network with xp home edition machines. On machine X I shared a local printer called epson.
From machine Y I want to be able to print from an old DOS program and I issued the command:
net use lpt1 \\X\epson /persistent:yes
I've no error on mapping the printer. But when I print from a DOS window from machine Y, like for example dir > lpt1, I've got the follwing error: Access Denied.
I don't have any domain, all computers bellong to the same workgroup, everyone are administrators and they don't have any passwords.
I tried to find an answer in this forum but I didn't. Can anyone help me?
Many thanks.
