Hello all,
I'm still in the dark ages with Netware 4.11 running DOS programs. My company is interested in upgrading the server for more space and to get caught up for a while with Novell releases. I just need to know that my old Business Basic and dBase DOS programs will not suffer if I do upgrade the server. If anyone has seen these kinds of issues please respond. I don't want to be up a creek without a paddle.
Thanks in advance,

Well, you should test to be sure, but it should work. My comany uses the DOS version of Platinum for accounting and a recent test passed to ensure our accounting server could get upgraded. If it is just a stright DOS app, there just shouldn't be an issue (doesn't mean there won't, schmidt happens).

Also, do your homework on the migration, 4.11 to 6 can be tricky. I have made a few posts in this fprum on the steps needed, and there have been quit a few others that list good info on what to expect and what to plan for. Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +
