im changing some machines and moving some apps in clipper from win95 to win2k but i get the dos 4 error. Too many open files (no handles left)

already added these lines in config.nt but it doesnt work :(

dos=high, umb
device=%SystemRoot%\system32\himem.sys
shell=%systemroot%\system32\command.com /e:512
files=300
buffers=15,0
SET CLIPPER=F:100

can someone help me on this? thanks in advance

config.nt
----------
Files=100

Autoexec.nt
-----------
set clipper=f95

You must modify config.nt in \WINNT\SYTEM32And remember that the max files are 250

In win ME in Win386 Section i use PerVMFiles=250
There is not some like thats in Win2k?

In Windows 2000/NT:

My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Environment Variables/New

Variable Name: CLIPPER
Variable Value: F200

hi everyone! im having the same problem as the one who posted this message originally and i already did all the things you wrote down. unfortunately, the clipper program im using still won't run under win2k. evytime i try to open it, the screen just flickers and closes. what else should i do??

To JustBe:

If that app is a Clipper 5.3(b) app, you will have to relink it using Blinker 6.0--it's the mouse driver.
