DOS command line util to send commands to console

Need to stop and restart an nlm by using some tool in
a batch file, without using rconsole, need to send the commands to the console using a dos util of some sort, does it exist, im sure there was one part of novell, but i might just be insane.

Need to get on this real soooooon.
