Dos-box vs. semaphore-files

Hi there,<br>
I have some self-written dos-programs and want them to <br>
run under windows9x. So far, so good, I use the dos-box.<br>
My Programs are using a special file-system - not self-written; I bought it! - (e.g. for adress-datas ) <br>
with semaphore-files, that means:<br>
the data base, using index-files opens a <br>
'semaphore-data'.This data is necessary for multi-user-index-access. It<br>
is created from the first progam, that opens the <br>
databaseand is closed from the last program, <br>
that closes the database. There are are <br>
informations handled in the semaphore-file <br>
to prevent a collision from several programs when using the index-file.<br>

Now, back to the dos-boxes. In the first one, <br>
everything is ok.Running the program twice on the neighbour-PC, both systems hang completely, even a crtl-alt-del does not work. With good old<br>
DOS 6.22 I have no problems with my multi-user <br>
file system at all.<br>

Any idea? May be there a registry-key to handle the semaphore-access not so rigourous?<br>
