Dorp down Menus Not appearing in Dreameaver 1

I have been creating drop down menus in Fireworks Mx and exporting them to Dreamweaver Mx where I am trying to use them in a top frame to open up links in a main frame below. The Drop down menu does show in Dreamweaver and the mouse over events work but I can't get any drop down menus to appear. I have tried a number Macromedia tutorials to remedy this but keep getting the same result.

Please can any one suggest what could be the problem

Hi,

I'm not too sure but I dont think you can cross frames using drop down menus, I think it all has to be in the same frame.
