Doorphone Ringing Issue - BCM 50 Recently Patched

A Doorphone was installed (not sure if it is BST, not supplied by us), at a site and the BCM50 would not recognize it. We patched the BCM50 to date, and now everything was working.

The customer has come back saying the doorphone will only ring 3 times and then the call is disconnected. The doorphone was set to 10 rings prior, I have since bumped them up to 16 while testing.

The doorphone rings a hunt group set for 30 seconds and then rolls to another one for 60 seconds. All recommended settings are on (1 intercom, etc)

Anyone know if this a bug or have any ideas of what could be causing this issue ?

Check the transfer callback if it is set low this will happen, set it high or off.
 
The transfer callback is set to 5. I tried having the call dn set to a direct extension, and am having the same issue. I rebooted the system, and it went to 4 rings for awhile, then back to 3.

When you look at the extension in EM, what does the set type say it is? I think it should say doorphone (may depend on BCM release number).

If it doesn't, it's likely a Norstar version. It might work strangely for a bit but will likely fail soon enough.
 
You best test untill you can see what type of door phone is to Intercom the DN number of the HG from a digital phone and see if you get the same results.
This eliminates door phone issue or HG programming issue.

I confirmed that the Doorphone is BST, and it is registering properly in Element Manager. It is a very new version, although still has the Nortel logo.

I changed the call DN to a direct extension with the same result. Calling the created hunt groups internally and externally tests okay.

I reconfirmed that the latest patch is installed in the BCM, and there are no other patches that address this issue.

After a reboot of the system, calls disconnected at 4 rings for awhile, and then 2 rings, now we are back at 3 rings.

Very strange.

Found the solution, it was my error. Just going to post this in case anyone else runs into this.

The field in the Element Manager is not in rings, it's in seconds. So when I was setting the call to ring sets for what I thought was 16 rings, it was actually 16 seconds.

Changed to the max of 60 seconds, and everything is sweet.
