I upgraded my customer from Nortel system to mitel ICP 3300.
I tried to use the existent Nortel door phone via an analog trunk, the audio is ok but cannot open the door by pressing 6.
Is there any other door phone (like ALGO) that I can use with Mitel controller, can I get the exact name?
Thanks

Any doorphone that connects via and analogue extesnion and accepts DTMF works with the Mitel.

It May have been that the Nortel one worked on a relay sent by the pbx.

The Interquartz range is the ones i use with Mitel no probs. You just provide an analogue extension to it and set it up as a hotline

The ALGO can be used. You may need to play with some of the cct descriptor values for answer supervision and whatnot to allow DTMF to be passed immediately as opposed to needing to wait.
