Could anyone tell me if it is possible to use a Pansonic door phone with a Partner 7.0 Processor? I have two doors phones and would like to avoid having to spend the additional money to change the existing equipment out due to the Avaya system having a different shape than the Panasonic.

What is the wiring configuration on a typical door phone? What would I have to do to make the Panasonic work with the Partner system?

Thanks in advance.

Hi FDGInc,
Some doorphones work on CO ports, some on atation tip-ring ports. The Partner isn't too fussy but the "doorphone" function only works on station tip-ring ports. I find the type that work on the CO ports more flexible.

i agreed with itpphoneguy....and those utilize co ports rings until somebody actually answers it not like the partner door phone which just do a 'ding-dong' and flashes the intercom but no ring....

SET CRTL ALT DEL = #728
