installing a new system and was able to get the doorphone to work, but the tone changed on the ipo to regular intercom ring, it was different before and the customer wants a different ring, is there an issue with this release?
If you mean it was "different before" when they had a Partner ACS system, then they are correct.
The IPO Basic does not give you the ACS "Bing Bong" sound when a call comes from a Door Phone.
I do believe that if you use the older Partner Analog phones like the 18d, they will give you the "Bing Bong" sound.
Otherwise, IPO Digital phones will ring like any other Intercom call and cannot be changed.
You could put an Electronic Chime on the wall and connect it to an Analog Station Port (if you have one)
and program it to ring from the Door Phone.
That may satisfy them.
You can also give the Door Phone a name and it will appear in the LCD of ringing phones.
