Hi all,

I have an IPO on 9.1.6 and has 3 phone 30s. On the 3rd module I have 6 siedle door phones. I have changed the ports to IVR. All works. They ring I can enter the door open code. When I hanger up the phone the 800ms disconnect happens. But in system status I see the door phone pick up the extn for the next 30 seconds. The door phone has to have its conversation timer to expire before I can use it again. Is there a way to send a busy tone to the port instead of a disconnect rather than loss of voltage?

Thanks

I never programmed ports for Siedle door phone analogue to IVR. Never had any problems leaving it as "telephone".

Never done it with that brand of phone. IVR is used to stop the far end from receiving a disconnect tone if the door phone remains off hook. Is there a way to shorten the disconnect timer Siedle?? The IPO by default should be expecting a 500ms. Otherwise you would have to change to a trunk port to use tone disconnect.

Do not set the ports to IVR, just default analog station will give busy tone, IVR port does not.
You can program the siedle that if a command is given to open the door it automatic disconnect the conversation and immediate ready for the next call.
When not open the door there is a command (#0??) to immediate disconnect.
Read the manual and try to understand it, it is a german product and documentation is crap to read and understand.
