I have a Merlin Magix 2.0 with Merlin Mail rel 3. It is a pretty basic set up with copper lines in Key Mode. In the day time lines 801 to 810 ring on Extension 10 and appear on all other phones. Line 812 is connected to a third party door box. This lines appears and rings on several phones. Most extensions are in covreage group 30 wich is for VM. Calls are answered at X10 and transfered to extensions. If un-answered they end up in the mailbox of that extension.
The trouble is that when the door box line rings, if un-answered it ends up in the lowest extension's mailbox and peolple at the door leave nasty messages for this person. Is there a way to make certaitn lines not forward to VM if they ring on an extension? Any other solutions?

Is line 803 assigned to the voice mail calling group? If so, remove it

If that won't work assign the line to an adjunt and make that station the principal owner of the line but don't give it vm coverage.
