I have a site that has a door buzzer. On the old system, it rings an extension that the front desk answers and they are able to speak to whomever is at the door.

I can't see how it's built on the old system, but it looks like it's using a universal trunk and auto-terminates to an extension.

Anyone have any ideas on how to program this and wire it up to make it work?

Thanks!

Doorphones can be programmed internally, or can be defined at HOT lines

If the latter, then all you need is an analog TN with FTR HOT D 4 1234 (where 1234 is the reception desk)

Now the problem here is "will it disconnect" - which leads us to thing thats why you have a trunk involved. Newer Doorphones can deal with Nortel's lack of disco supervision.
