Hi -

I am looking at purchasing the Dreamweaver MX to create a personals website like
Because I don't know much about the software I thought I would post on here and see what your feedback would be on the software and creating a database backend for it.

The software is the best if you want software to hold your hand and do a lot of the work for you.

It has a pretty steep learning curve and you absolutely need ASP experience because most of the time although the code generated works well it is pretty vanilla and you will want/need to tweak it.

But it is hard to go past Dreamweaver, especially if you are using VBScript.

Ditto that.

Grab a demo from Macromedia and have a go at the onboard tutorials. That should tell you if you can build the site yourself or if you need to employ someone else.
