This is so minor it may not be worth mentioning. Still, I was reading through the threads and at least 3 times someone said to delete a system file or an app. file. Wouldn't it be better to zip the file and save it for a while, giving the zip a title that refers to the name of the file and where it goes? Then you can put it somewhere easy to find. The file can't be used, and if it turns out you need it, you can put it back easily.
Hope this helps.

I do this, and I name the file 'Please delete me after X.zip', where X is the date three months from now. Every now and again, I search through my HDD looking for 'please*.zip' files and remove any expired ones.
