Hi, I've been asked to administer an already up and running TSM. Trying to free volumes to scratch someone has done "checkout libvol library volume remove=no checklabel=no" on 2 scratch volumes (to avoid reclamation to use these 2 scratch vols).
Now I need to use these 2 volumes, but I don't know how to check them in again. We haven't removed these vols, so they should be inside the library, in their slots.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

Nevermind, solved with "checkin libvol library search=yes status=scratch".

It's weird, because I'm almost completely sure we tried this before posting, and it didn't work.

Thanks anyway.

Hmm.. did you you checklabel=barcode or no? I'm thinking if you didn't, it may have had to mount every tape and check the internal label... and maybe it was just taking longer than expected?

Good job sorting out your own issue tho. hehe...
