I have 2 servers, one is running on Linux with Domino 6.5 and the other is running on NT 4 with Domino 6.5.1. I have a cluster running.

The problem is that some users including me the administrator have been receiving multiple copies of the some mails sent to us. Please note that the mails are different for each user. This means some receive multiple copies of a mail while others receive multiple of other mails sent to them.

Please what can be done to correct this?

Hello,

We had an issue like that a while back, but we upgraded to the latest version and it solved it. I read a post in another forum that mentioned the possibility of replication conflicts on the replicas.

I would, either upgrade to the latest version of notes, or take one (1) mail file, delete it's replica on the secondary server, and re-create it. Then monitor for the same issue. Hope this helps.

Rgds,

John

I will delete the replica and recreate it. Is there a possibility of a problem coming up if while recreating the replica, the user is using the mail file at the same time? Could this cause a problem?

Hello,

I would use AdminP via the Server console. Shouldn't be a problem. Keep me posted.

Rgds,

John

How do I use the AdminP on the console? What is the format of the command?

Do you have the Admin client installed on your PC? It's easier. Open the Admin Client, Open your server, Files Tab, navigate to Mail DB (mail folder), select mail DB (xxx.nsf), click Database from the Right Window pane, Create Replica. The Replica will be made on the users Secondary mail server.

Rgds,

John
