Domino server console

Hello,

we run Domino 6.5.1 on a 2000 server machine.
We sometimes have a problem that Domino "hangs".

If you then go to the server and observe the domino server console (dos box) you see that its on hold.

From the moment you type anything in the server console the software start showing all the transactions very fast until he has could up.

So the transactions are made , but nog showed on the console. This results in Notes clients hangs.
Have anybody seen this problem ?

You will most likely find this is a Windows 2000 GUI setting.

Click the close window control on the console and select the properties.

On the options tab ensure that quick edit mode and insert mode are deselected.

If this is not the case then every time you click the mouse in the console window the screen output is paused.

Note: You should find that clients are unaffected.
