I am migrating 500+ users to Domino 6.5.4 from an alternative mail server. I created a LDIF file from my old server. The problem is that Domino Upgrade Service is not importing the uid attribute. I checked to make sure that Domino LDAP has the uid attribute mapped to the Lotus Short Name field.
By default, Domino creates a short name by appending the first name initial to the last name. I need to import the unique uid for each user to avoid duplicates. How can I get domino to import the uid attribute?
