Domino and NT usernames

I have an existing NT4 network with users and Domino R5 and would like a setup so that when a user logs onto a different PC Lotus notes changes to his ID file. Any ideas not sure if it is possible.

If the users have a network drive mapped as part of their login (most companies I've worked for map U:\ to some little chunk of a server somewhere for a 'user' drive) You can set up Notes to look in that directory for the user's desktop, ID file etc. So instead of looking in c:\lotus\notes for the id file it would look in u:\notes - returning the ID and desktop of whomever happened to be logged into the machine at the time.
