Hi, Domino Admins!
Your opinions could be very useful to determine if Lotus Domino is really too much better than MS Exchange (even 2000). I believe, most of you are satisfied with Lotus functionality, but let us see the problem from the point of view of inventarization Domino Directory & reporting on it. We know, most Exchange admins are not satisfied with it at all, and what about you?
Could you tell, are there any difficulties while administering Domino which are the consequences of some Domino Administrator infunctionality. For example,
- I'd like to see some global statistics of my Domino Mail Servers: how many servers are used through the enterprise, how many mail boxes are supported by every server, how many letters have been sent/received for last day/week/month,... Can I find quick answers (in the form of reports) for all these questions using only Domino built-in administering tools (for example, Domino Administrator)?
- I also want to see exhaustive detailed statistics of Domino Mail: users and their mailboxes (with a possibility of filtering), number of letters send/received by every user during a time interval, user quotas, permissions, etc. If Domino Administrator is enought for me?
... You are likely to know better yourself what are the problems of Domino administering. Which of them can't be resolved without third-party tools? Do you know such tools?
Please, help!!!!!!!! We wouldn'l like Exchange to conquer this segment of enterprise software!
Thank you all.
Leon
