domino administrator files tab

I am having a small problem witht he files tab in domino administrator on domino 5.

When I click it I can see all databases for about 10 seconds, then everything dissapears.

This only happens on remote domino administrator, If do this on the server itself it is fine, the files/databases stay there ok

any ideas would be greatly appreciated
