Domainname reset?

I have an RH7.3 machine setup as an NIS client.
However when I reboot the machine the domainname is always reset to blank.
Where can I put this value so that it is permanent?

edit the /etc/syscongig/network

DOMAINNAME=yourdomainname

if you want to join a nis also add

NISDOMAINNAME=yournisdomainname


Then on the command line type
domainname yourdomainname
nisdomainame yournisdomainname
