Hi all,

i want to add windows 2k to my nt domain, my question is this: the nt server 4 runs wins, dns, dhcp...and has the protocols tcp/ip....netbeui

on the 2k clients i know i will use tcp/ip but do i need to include wins and netbeui? what features are not supported in 2k thats all im wondering about...ty

with Windows 2000 the ephasis is heavyily on DNS not WINS although there is no reason why you can't still use Wins. Bear in mind that 98 clients rely more on WINS that DNS.
