I have a domain and I have a server setup at home how do I point my domain to my server so I can transmit streaming video or/and audio. Also, I know I can point the domain to my server in order to remote in to it, instead of using dyndns that I am using right now...

If you do not have a static IP address at the home network, then you're probably better off staying with DynDNS.
However you can transfer you domain name to DynDNS and use that to manage you domain records.
