Domain Password Change Killed Outlook Rules

A user changed his domain password successfully (re-booted and was authenticated), however Outlook is preventing the transfer of server-based mail to local storage. Rules are causing scripting errors, too.

Possible cause - solution?

Changing password should not be a problem however..

It almost sounds like the user is not really logged into the network, could that be so?

For starters, can you see the network from network neighborhood?

Any other info you can come up with will help.
