Hello
I am running Solaris 2.9. I downloaded the sendmail source code, configured and compiled it, and installed it on my workstation. It is properly configured to receive e-mails, but I cannot send e-mails: I get the following error message which I did not get when I used the sendmail configuration that came with the OS.
553.5.5.4 <user> Domain name required for sender address user
I get the above error message if I try to send an e-mail to user@yourdomain.com.
I have a DOMAIN(mydomain.com)dnl line in sendmail.mc in cf/cf and a mydomain.com.m4 in the cf/domain directory.
The output of /usr/lib/sendmail -d0.1 bp is correct as well.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you
Olivier
