Domain name does not work without www.

Hi guys wondering if someone could give me a point me in the right direction to sort out this little problem. I know I am missing something really simple. I have recently moved to a new server and my URL does not work without www.

It seems to get to the server so i think the DNS is setup ok because I get the IIS7 welcome page when i try to access it. I have set up both the address with the www. and without in the bindings for the site on IIS but still no joy. I have also tried setting it up as a completly different site in IIS but still nothing.

Just to add I saw a post for this earlier which someone replied explaining that the dns setting needs to be without a * before the addy. I already have both setup in DNS records.
