We have a client:
red-widgets
Their domain name is:
They want to add another domain:
that mirrors their site. Reason being that all printed marketing efforts list the company name (branded in their logo) as red-widgets, not redwidgets. So they feel users coming to the site from their print ads will want to type in Even though the print ad clearly says
So my question is how or what do you guys reccommend is the best way to handle the two domain names having the exact same content? Will that hurt rankings in Google? Or if I'm researching right will one of the sites succeed in the serps and the other fail because of the duplicated content?
If it's a guarantee that one will succedd then im ok with this, but if both suffer from the duplicated content then I need some advice.
