Domain Local V's Local Groups

I’m currently implementing a new Windows 2003 file server on our Domain.

I don’t know weather I should be using Domain Local or Local Groups to assign permissions.

Can anyone advise??

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but of course you should use domain user groups to assign permissions on your fileserver.

Easier to administrate and you don't want local user accounts on your fileserver, do you?

And don't use Global groups either - keep it nice and clean
