Hello, We have 3 W2K3 DC's and one W2k Dns server. At present the Domain Functional level is set to Windows 2000 native. The original DC's were W2k but have now been decommissioned. If i raise the functional level to Server 2003 will the W2k server continue to operate as a member DNS server? I'm more or less certain it will be ok but would rather ask the question.

many Thanks, Aelara.

As long as it's not a domain controller then yes.

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?
