Dear Experts,

I have two windows server 2003 domain controllers at two different cities, we have DSL conection on both location. Can any expert guide me through step to replicate these two domain controllers.

Thanks
Saif

So these domain controllers are in the same domain?? If they are then they will replicate anyway by default just as they would if they were in the same building,

Sites and services is what you need to use to control replication;

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

Is there already connectivity between offices or is this a new branch office deployment?

Are the network segments on both sides the same or different?

pagy is correct, replication will occur on its own as long as connectivity exists, DNS is configured properly (both the service AND the tcp/ip properties on the DCS), and all required ports are opened if a firewall or router is blocking any ports.

You need to create a site object for the remote location. Then create a subnet object for each network segment in the remote site and attach it to the new site object.
If your DC has already been promoted before doing this, hop onto the REMOTE DC, go into dssite.msc, then move the server object to the new site. You will either want to make it a global catalog, or enable global and universal group membership caching, so ensure localized and quick authentication.
