Domain Controller Not Found

I have a windows 2k network and everything is working fine,except if i am on a memember server or a win2k pro box with the admin tools and i try to access the group policys!! I can access AD and use all the fetures except the group policys tab. An error box shows up Saying " Domain Controller Not Found " and gives you 3selections to use but none of them done anything!! Also when i try to DCPROMO a member server i get the same error saying " Domain Controller Not Found "

It looks like a DNS problem. Check DNS configuration. Don't forget that for Win2k DNS is vital.
Eventually send more information about the AD and DNS config. Gia Betiu
