I am looking to move my domain controller from a 192.168 network to a 10.10 network. Any recommended How-To's on this? What will I break? Will I have to change this on all servers due to replication?

thanks,

You will need to switch over your DHCP scope, change any other static IPs to the new subnet, change the DNS settings on your NICs.

After you change the ip, run the following from a command prompt:

IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS
IPCONFIG / REGISTERDNS

If you use NAT on your firewall, you will need to update your rules too. Static IP connections on Printers and Network Scanners will likely need to be updated too.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
