I have a windows 2003 domain that spans two firewall segments. I realized that one of my DCs had no network connection. This problem has been fixed, but I don't know how long the problem existed.
This is the only DC in the site, and it holds no FSMO roles.
The DC works fine for machines in that site to authenticate, but it cannot replicate across the site to or from that server. I get this error
Logon failure: The target account name is incorrect.
I tried to use dcpromo to remove AD from the server and reinstall, but I get the same error. Any way to diagnose and fix this problem? Thanks.
Thanks,
Andrew
