I have this strange scenario that all our SBS domain pc's are also appearing under a workgroup called Workgroup if i browse Network Places. It does appear under the Domainname as well.
Some domain computers are also unable to browse the domainname in Network Places.

Just make sure that all the clients are pointed to the SBS server for DNS. You would probably do well not to configure a secondary DNS address in that field at all.

Another option for resolving this is to add WINS (Windows Name Server) to your server (if you don't already see it in the Administrator Tools list), and configure your clients to use it (usually via DHCP). Make sure to point your server at itself for WINS. Setting up and using a WINS server tends to clear up strange problems with the network browsing environment.

Some will tell you that there's no reason you should be running WINS in a Windows 2003 environment, but there are a few situations in which it can be helpful, and it sounds like this might be one of them.

I have all your suggested settings in place. What else can be causing this to happen. All my pc's that belonged to the orginal workgroup called "workgroup" have been replaced with our domain pc's causing duplcates computernames to appear. Browsing the Network Paces takes forever to bring up browsing lists.

The "Workgroup" still exists because at least one workstation is still in "Workgroup" and it is maintaining an old browse list that includes the other computers, even though they are now in the domain. Tracking down that last workstation or two is what you need to do. Looking in the event logs of the different clients will probably give you the information you need, but you could also use this tool:
