Ok, so i have this domain here with one parent domain we will call it domain.org and two child domains, HS.domain.org and K8.domain.org

now the company's outside website (hosted off site by some crappy host) is domain.org.

So while not on a domain computer i can access it just fine, but when i try to access it from a domain computer i get the usuall, IE cannot find page deal.

I would assume this i becuase the domain computers are having a DNS issue and looking towards the parent domain rather than the ouside.

any ideas how i resolve this?

You're right. It is a DNS issue because your internal domain name matches your external. Your DNS servers aren't forwarding the request because they think they know everything about domain.org. You need to create a DNS A record for "www" on your internal DNS server to point to the hosting company's IP address. That should take care of it.

So a pointer record or what type of record am i looking to create and where?

Never mind got it thanks alot bro i owe you a beer.

No, you don't need a pointer. What you need to do is in the domain.org Forward Look Up Zone in the DNS MMC Snap-In, you need to right click, and select "New Host (A)..." Type "www" in the box, and then enter the IP address of your hosting company in the provided space below that. There is a check box there to create the PTR record, but that would do you little good since the IP will not be within your network.
