Domain Changes

Since We have moved from domains, Our SQL Servers is taking a full 2 seconds to make a connection. NT Users created on the Domain controller can also not been seen from the SQL Server.

What we have done is to simple join the SQL Server to the New domain.

Can anyone guide me on how to resolve this issue.
