IS-IT--Management
I have a Sharepoint Portal Server 2001 machine running on my network. Before Christmas, we were running a Windows NT-based network. During some downtime over the Christmas holidays, we upgraded the network environment to Windows 2000/Active Directory (the server in question was already running Windows 2000, so all I did was change the domain membership). User accounts were migrated, along with their SID history. Some strange things are happening with my Sharepoint server now:
[ul]
[li]my users are now presented with a logon dialog box, when before they could get access without one and the server still knew who was accessing the portal[/li]
[li]none of the subscriptions work[/li]
[li]none of the default webparts seem to work, like displaying news on the portal home page - in fact, the home page is totally blank when you open a portal site[/li]
[/ul]
Re-installation is not really an option, and I don't have a good backup from before the changeover . Am I out of luck, or is there something that I can do to get this working?
Thanks in advance,
-- Shawn
