Domain Admin security account permissions reset after 15 min.

2 Windows 2000 Server w/Active Directory - These Domain Controllers are replicating AD information successfully.

After removing Authenticated Users - Read Access to the Domain Admin security group, and applying successfully, the system resets the security settings back to the original values after about 15 minutes.

Does anyone have any idea as to what might be causing this permission reset?

Check in Active Directory Users and Computers. On your Domain Controllers OU right-click and choose properties. Check your Group policy tab. Windows 2000 by default sets up a default domain controller policy that overrides the changes you made. Either edit the policy, or remove it.
