In my search across the internet to find ways to dynamically change colors, locations, and all that other fun stuff that provides absolutley no functionality on web sites, i found hundreds of refrenses on how to do this using javascript, but none using vbscript. Is thier some problem inherint in using vbscript to access the visual affects of the DOM, or is it just discouraged. If anyone knows a good refrence point for VBScript to access visual properties of a webpage i would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Micah A. Norman

The big problem is browser compatability. VBScript is only supported in IE, while Javascript is supported (more or less) in most browsers. The DOMs vary a bit too from browser to browser (or even between versions).

However, if you want info on client-side VBScript and the IE DOM just go to the source: the MSDN Library.

Look in the left nav-bar under Web Development.
