Hi,

I'm trying to enable "Posix Tar" backup format for our linux clients. We are using version 11.5. When I click on "Local Options" for the linux hosts the popup window shows an option for tar (and cpio) but they are greyed out and not selectable. Does anyone know how to enable them? I can't say that I'll ever need them in this format but I'd to at least have the option if some, perhaps misguided, notion pushes me in that direction.

Thanks
- Joel

I guess your backup server is BAB 11.5 for Windows, right ?
In that case the choices are not available: BAB for Windows writes data in *.ctf format and that's it.

regards
