Is it an urban legend? But some one I know told me that it would be a waste of money to more than 128meg of ram into a system running windows 98. Is this true and why?

Confused

Win9x can "use" any amount of RAM (up to 2 GB), but it can only "cache" 320 meg. You may see system performance slow down slightly if you're using more than 320 meg. See the FAQ in this forum for more. Cheers,
Jim
