Hi,
I`m working for a Japanese company. We all use W2k Pro SP2 Japanese language edition.
I wanted to create a script that would check the log file of a backup job to test for success of failure.
However I notice that when I open this file, the readline method doesn`t seem to read Japanese characters at all. It just reads in blank lines.
I can put Japanese text into msgboxes and it will appear will no problems. Do I need the Japanese version of the VBS interpreter/compiler thingy??? in order to read Japanese text from a text file?
